CONFERENCE CENTER INTERNSHIP - MALEPOSITION SUMMARY: This internship will challenge and grow the way you view leadership and service, provide you with hands-on skills in customer service, general maintenance, and audio/visual equipment, and develop your interpersonal relationship skills, as well as provide you with insight into the bigger picture of how a Christian conference center operates. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to gain experience in many areas of Christian camping, including but not limited to grounds keeping, guest group on-call care, meeting room setup and tear-down, office and administrative tasks, trash removal, and general maintenance, as well as special projects. During the summer, duties will shift to leading Conference Center summer staff, including coordinating hiring, planning events, serving as a mentor, and leading weekly devotions for about 25 summer staff. OUTDOOR EDUCATION NATURALISTSPOSITION SUMMARY: Working as a member of our Outdoor Education department, the Naturalist’s duties include introducing children to God’s creation through leading hands-on outdoor science classes in our redwood forest. Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. required, biology or elementary education preferred; teaching experience; current First Aid / CPR certification; proven ability to be a positive Christian role model for children.
